While some of you may buy this wine to lay down, and sure it will age gracefully, but it's drinking beautifully right now so I reckon buy this wine and drink now.

More Information
Characteristic perfumed, fragrant aromas highlighted by cherry and red berry fruits, complemented by a touch of spice and underlying French oak. The long, silky palate has lovely elegance, a plush, velvety texture and a finely poised finish.
Handpicked, with each parcel handled separately in the winery. Hand sorted and carefully destemmed (25% whole bunches), each parcel went into traditional open fermenters. The wine underwent three days of cold soaking to ensure even and thorough extraction. Batches were on skins for 7-10 days, after which time they were transferred into French oak (500L puncheons & 6500L cuves) for 10 months.
Where this wine comes from - Mornington Peninsula
Another gem that’s part of Melbourne’s ‘Dress Circle’, the maritime climate of Mornington makes it Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Paradise. Sea breezes ensure the vineyards remain cool, ideal for producing styles with elegance and finesse. Red Hill, Merricks and Balnarring is where the main action is, enjoying the see breezes coming off Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. There’s also a vast array of alternative varieties that enjoy the peninsula’s maritime climate. Pinot Grigio / Pinot Gris certainly has made its presence felt, producing both clean crisp, easy drinking Grigio styles, as well as richer, riper Gris styles. The whites are made for seafood, while Mornington Pinot Noir is a must with traditional duck dishes – either Chinese style or French.

A light bodied Pino that is very drinkable either lunch or dinner and full of all the right flavours that you would expect from a wine tthat evolved from the Yarra valley.
I love this smooth, tasty drop with no hint of the bitiness of its similarly priced competitors. Delicious. I am going to order some more. Cheers to Red Claw
