This dry and very light rose is made from delicious Pinot Noir with a touch of Shiraz. It's bone dry, has some lovely texture and exhibits the delightful “strawberries and cream” from the Pinot Noir and lifted “dark cherry” fruit and spices on the palate from the Shiraz component.
''This is Alex Byrne’s first non Ballarat Pinot Noir and he nails it. There’s a great balance between more serious meaty, bunchy, deep red fruit and the raspberry fruit. 18.5/20, 94/100.'' Andrew Graham. Oz Wine Review
